Getting There
The venue is approximately 3hrs drive from Brisbane.

The best route takes you through the Wivenhoe Dam district which is quite a pleasant drive.  If you head out past Ipswich to Fernvale and from there set your GPS for Yarraman.  From Yarraman the shortest route is through Maidenwell then you can enter the final destination address which is 10 Bunya Ave. Bunya mountains and it will take you via Maidenwell.  You can also travel to Bunya Mountains via Kingaroy.

If you are travelling from the Northside of Brisbane you should travel via Caboolture then Kilcoy to Yarraman, Maidenwell and then on to the Bunya Mountains.

You will turn left on Margaret St. in Yarraman as you head towards Maidenwell/Bunya Mountains.  There is a council rest stop on the left opposite Pine street.  This is the most convenient place for a rest stop before you reach your destination.  Yarraman is the last major town. From Yarraman head down the New England highway for Maidenwell.  The turn off is on the right hand side and come up pretty quickly, but is well signposted.  There is a pub and bit of a general store at Maidenwell before you really start to head up the mountain.  Short strips of unsealed road before you climb. From Maidenwell it's a left turn to begin the ascent following Maidenwell-Bunya Mountain road. This link will show the route on google maps

If you trust your GPS to get you straight from your house to the Bunya Mountains you can expect a more adventurous route.  There are other valid routes, we simply suggest you do your research first.
